FAQ
What kind of printing can you do?
It’s pretty simple – we are a no-frills operation, and if it's a PDF, we can print it! We can do homeschool materials, eBooks, worksheets, etc. We can do all of these in color, B&W, single- or double-sided! As long as it is click-and-print ready (nothing complicated/complex), we can do it!
Is there anything you cannot print?
There are absolutely some projects that we are not equipped to produce. One of the major ways we keep our prices affordable is by providing good quality printing of simple print projects - click-and-print-ready orders. We do not mix black and white printing and color printing within one document. Anything that requires cutting, stapling, folding, as well as very complex projects (requiring different kinds of paper in one
document, such as cardstock covers or colored paper, or with different settings, etc) are examples of what we are unable to fulfill. If your order requires special attention or excess instructions, we gladly recommend Staples, Office Depot, FedEx Office, or your local copy shop for those projects that are more complex than click-and-print. 🙂
What does long-edge & short-edge flip mean?
Good question! To sum it up - "flipping" is just a printing term that means how you want the paper printed double-sided. Most PDFs are a standard, portrait orientation (i.e., long edges on the left & right, short edges on the top & bottom), and some are landscape orientation (the long
edges are on the top & bottom, and the short edges on the left & right). A handy guide is this:
- Portrait orientation & long-edge flip = like a normal book
- Landscape orientation & long edge flip = like a calendar
- Landscape orientation & short-edge flip = like a wide book
Tip: If you have any left-handed learners , a great solution is to have your portrait documents flipped on the long edge & **bound** on the short edge - this will flip like a notepad would, and the coil will always be at the top. 🙂 **while we typically use black coils, once in a while - when we find an amazing deal - we may use a different color coil for your books. We will always do our best to make sure it looks good on your document. 🙂 **
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
We currently do not ship outside the U.S. The exceptions are APOs, FPOs, and DPOs.
I placed multiple orders. Will they ship together?
While we do our best to ship multiple orders together, when orders are placed separately - even a day or two apart - it is NOT a guarantee. We will do our best to send your materials together as a courtesy to you. However, to save yourself extra shipping costs, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you use your 'Save' link on the order form to add additional PDFs all into ONE order. This will make your ordering experience less complicated, and save you multiple shipping costs and multiple packages to keep track of - a winning combo!
What are your finishing options?
We can do:
- No finishing (loose-leaf pages, shipped in a plastic bag)
- Spiral-binding, which includes a sturdy plastic coil and clear, matte-finish covers
- 3-hole punching, perfect for binders!
- Lamination, good for prints that you want to reference often and/or want to have a little extra durability
PLEASE NOTE - we can NOT combine finishings together. (Example: spiral-binding and lamination together, 3-hole punching and lamination, spiral-binding and 3-hole punching, etc)
Do you ever run sales?
In a word – no. While a lot of companies inflate their prices so they can run sales often, we built our pricing to be 2 things: an excellent value for the customer, and sustainable for us to keep this going long-term. To keep things simple – we keep our pricing consistent, and that enables
us to keep it low. And YOU never have to worry about missing out on a sale or promo code!
What if I don’t love my order, or what if something is wrong?
Yikes! Most of the time, people are thrilled with the printing they receive from us, and we love that! But, as with everything in life, there’s bound to be exceptions - sometimes, despite our best efforts, we make a mistake! If there’s something not right with your order, or you are just not
pleased with what you receive, please email us right away at [email protected] and tell us what’s going on! We’ll do everything we can to fix it and make it right for you. It’s the only responsible thing to do. 🙂
When will I get my printing?
We know you're super excited to receive your materials - and we're excited for you, too! Current turnaround time is always listed on the first page of our online ordering form. Like any other business, we have busy seasons & slower times - so don't be surprised if the turnaround time changes now and then. 🙂 While we do our best to anticipate turnaround times, we cannot perfectly predict the future of order volume and orders may be printed earlier or later than stated on the home page and order form.
How do you send out the printing?
We mostly ship via USPS - but sometimes UPS.
Why do you need my address?
We use your address to ship your materials to you. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you use the address you want your materials SHIPPED TO. We cannot guarantee shipment if you email us a different address for shipping than the one provided in your order form.
I’m local, can I pick up my order?
We do not currently offer any pickup services.
